Hrm. I can’t say the second quote strikes me as very accurate. If execution “is everything,” then wouldn’t it be valuable on it’s own? What is execution without an idea?
I think there are far fewer people in this world capable of innovative ideas than effective executions.

The second one is just another form of “success is five percent inspiration, ninety-five percent perspiration.”
Indeed, I think the second quote would be more effective if the words “on their own” were appended after “nearly worthless.”
