The Argon Express 2008? It's not too late! 7
Picture yourself and your laptop. It’s been over a day and you’re sitting on a train with a group of Rails developers with a view like this over your shoulder.
Hacking and reading on the train.
Enjoying the sceneary of the U.S.A.
Two years ago… a group of us went from Portland to Chicago for RailsConf 2006 on the Argon Express.
I know this is a tad late… but uf you haven’t purchased plane tickets to Portland yet for CabooseConf or RailsConf 2008 and would be interested in catching the train from somewhere the East Coast, email me and we’ll talk. I’m hoping to organize the Argon Express 2008 over next few weeks.

I think I’ll be up in Spokane visiting family the week leading up to the conf, but if you’re serious about doing this let me know and I’ll hop on for the last leg.
How silly is it that taking a round trip train ride on Amtrak (from Boston) costs more than flying? Gah.
nap – I’m also traveling from boston, so taking the argon express would be amazing. ...and amazingly expensive >:(
Hahaha the last photograph is hilarious. I was quite scandaled with it at first because of the text on the man’s shirt with the position of the mac covering his head!
For coach (what I’d cope with)... prices look to be anywhere from $180-220 for a one-way ticket. I was thinking of starting in Boston and working my way back. People could hop aboard along the way.
Yeah it looks like I’ll probably be visiting a friend in Eugene before the conf anyway. Maybe I’ll hop on for that last 3 hours ;-).
It looks like a bunch of people form Jacksonville might be interested.
